Living with the Omelette Lean Routine
Omelette Lean gives you a plan for one meal, most days. The rest of your eating does not need a separate set of rules.
The Rest of the Day
An omelette may be breakfast, a later breakfast, brunch or a combined breakfast and lunch. Let the timing fit your day, and eat later when you are genuinely hungry. There is no need to skip a meal just because you had an omelette earlier.
If weight loss is your goal, it depends on your eating across the day and over time. A satisfying first meal can be one practical part of that wider approach, but it does not decide the outcome on its own.
Busy Days, Eating Out and Travel
You will not always be able to make an omelette. A café may have one on the menu; otherwise, choose a first meal that works for you and return to the routine when it is practical. Missing a day does not mean starting again.
The same applies on holiday or during a busy week. Keep the recipes you like close at hand and make your next omelette when it suits you.
Drinks and Familiar Favourites
Choose drinks that suit your tastes and circumstances. Water, tea and coffee can all fit alongside the routine. If you drink alcohol, consider it as part of your wider eating and drinking habits rather than treating the omelette as a way to offset it.
Ham, bacon and sausage appear in some recipes. If you find yourself repeating one often and want more range, mix in vegetable-led, fish or other combinations you enjoy.
Keep the Routine Flexible
You can repeat a favourite several times or mix recipes from different weeks. The plans give you combinations and shopping lists to return to, while leaving room for an ordinary week to change.
